Skoda has announced that it will soon begin development of a new student car.
This year will mark the ninth time Skoda is building a student car, together with vocational students at its Mlada Boleslav site. These one-off vehicles demonstrate the high level of training offered at the Skoda Vocational School.
The Skoda student car project allows apprentices at Skoda to create their very own dream car from a blank page to the finished one-of-a-kind vehicle, all with expert guidance from instructors. The Skoda Afriq pictured above, for example, was designed and built by 25 apprentices, with help from Skoda Motorsport as well as the staff from development as well as design and production departments at Skoda.
More details of the ninth student car will be revealed in the coming months.
