Hasbro's classic mystery murder board game Cluedo (also known simply as Clue in the U.S.A) has been given a refresh, and McLaren is joining in on the festivities.
Designed by British Board Game Designer Anthony E. Pratt and first manufactured by Waddingtons in the U.K. in 1949, the Cluedo board game has entertained families both in the U.K. and around the world. And the British brand McLaren is now joining in on the reveal of its refreshed interation.

The mystery is being opened with a trailer, which you can watch embedded above. The trailer features a vibrant McLaren Orange Artura parked outside Black's Tudor mansion. The opening is further being supported with posts on Clue's Instagram page, @officialclue, which reveal that the victim's most prized possession was his new McLaren supercar.
The Instagram page will share new evidence every day, as well as suspect testimonies, witness statements and first-person accounts, all designed to draw global sleuths into the twists and turns of an immersive Clue mystery populated by metahuman characters based on the iconic game suspects.
Week two of the global murder mystery will feature a unique piece of evidence involving Black's McLaren Artura that will be shared with game participants on McLaren Automotive's North American Instagram channel @mclarennorthamerica. Only time will tell if it is a crucial piece of evidence that will lead to unravelling the mystery of Black’s killer.
With 671bhp and 720Nm of torque from a 3.0-litre V6 paired to a hybrid system in the McLaren Artura, we are guessing whoever is se to inherit Mr. Black's supercar ought to be thoroughly studied as a potential suspect.
