Lamborghini has revealed some images of its 60th Anniversary Lamborghini Day celebrations in Japan.
Fans of the brand gathered at Suzuka Circuit on 23 February 2023 to celebrate the brand's 60th year. On display were a total of 280 Lamborghinis, both current and classic including the 350 GT, the Islero, and the Countach, all of which were restored by the brand's Polo Storico Department
The parade around the Suzuka circuit has set a Guinness World Record for the 'Largest parade of Lamborghini cars' The track event was kicked off with a parade run around the track, where more than 250 Lamborghinis participated from throughout the company's history, from the Miura to the Countach LPI 800-4.
With a total of 251 Lamborghinis participating, this parade run was recognised by Guinness World Records as the 'Largest parade of Lamborghini cars'. This event was also the stage for the Japanese market debut of the Huracan Sterrato, which was originally unveiled at Art Basel Miami Beach in November 2022.
The days that followed then saw the celebrations making their way over to many of Japan's most famous tourist spots, including the historic areas of Kyoto and Nara as part of an exciting dynamic tour.
Participants of the 60th anniversary celebrations in Japan also got to see the Lamborghini Huracan STO Time Chaser_111100 The convoy visited Lake Biwa, the largest freshwater lake in Japan, before making their way to the Kyoto Heian Shrine, built in 1895 on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the capital's foundation in Kyoto, dedicated to the spirits of the first and last emperors who reigned from the city.
The celebrations also included a gala dinner Kyoto International Conference Centre, where those participating got to see the one-of-a-kind work of art created in an avant-garde collaboration between Ikeuchi, the Lamborghini Huracan STO Time Chaser_111100.
