Hyundai has revealed the facelifted Sonata sedan.
The car is said to now sport a dynamic, low-slung design with elegant proportions. You've no doubt already noticed that it also now sports Hyundai's signature Seamless Horizon Lamp lighting signature at the front, as we have seen in the Hyundai Staria and the facelifted Kona.
The Sonata gets a H-shaped rear lighting signature, alongside a swooping spoiler-shaped trunk lid The Sonata's head lights are also now hidden within the front intake elements at either end of the car.
At the rear, the Sonata has retained its fastback roof line, with a H-shaped rear lighting signature adopted.
A swooping spoiler-shaped trunk lid also sits here. Lower on the car, the Sonata gets a muffler-shaped rear garnish, while the N-line Sonata gets twin-tip mufflers.
At the rear, the new H-lights further emphasise the Sonata's high-tech image and wide stance.
The swooping spoiler-shaped trunk lid and muffler-shaped rear garnish on the standard model reinforce the impression of a high-performance sports sedan, while the addition of a rear spoiler and dual twin-tip mufflers along with exclusive 19-inch wheels on the N Line further amplify that image.
Hyundai's panoramic curved display here comprises of two 12.3-inch displays In the cabin of the Hyundai Sonata is a panoramic curved display that combines both 12.3-inch driver information cluster and a 12.3-inch AVN infotainment system. Use of horizontal lines on a simple dashboard layout are said to have been adopted to expand the sense of space in the cabin.
A touch-type climate control unit also features in the cabin, along with a column-type shift-by-wire controller, all to free up storage space within the centre console.
