Skoda has revealed that the ninth student car is set to be all-electric, and based on the Skoda Enyaq iV SUV.
Embracing the explorer spirit, the car will be a multifunctional camping and mobile office vehicle that meets all the needs of a modern-day explorer. The first design sketches of the car, made by the 29 apprentices that will be building the vehicle with the assistance of Head of Skoda Design Oliver Stefani and the rest of the Skoda design team, have now been revealed alongside this announcement.
The still unnamed student car is set to feature a host of 'Simply Clever' features in its cabin, which will make use of a wide array of sustainable materials. The aim of the car, according to Skoda, is to allow its user to become a 'digital nomad' - being able to work without being tied to a desk, and free to move wherever he/she wants to.
