Mercedes-Benz has revealed the facelifted GLS SUV.
The car is getting a new front grille, now sporting a total of four louvres finished in high-quality Silver Shadow, as opposed to the twin-louvres design of its predecessor. Below this new grille sits a redesigned front bumper.

Here, two new leather colour options are now available: Catalana beige and Bahia brown. The SUV is also now offered with Glossy brown lime wood trim standard, although the car can also be had with Manufaktur glossy black flowing lines in piano lacquer, a touch previously reserved for the Mercedes‑Maybach GLS600.
The louvres of the centre and side air vents are additionally now galvanised in Silver Shadow - another detail borrowed from the Mercedes‑Maybach GLS.
The MBUX system of the luxury SUV has also been updated with new display options The MBUX system for the GLS has also been updated. The displays can be individualised with the help of three different styles (classic, sporty, discreet), and both displays can be shown in seven colour schemes to pair with the colour selected for the ambient lighting.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS is being offered with two petrol engines. The GLS450 will come with a 3.0-litre engine that delivers 375bhp and 500Nm of torque, while the GLS580 will come with a 4.0-litre engine offering 510bhp and 730Nm of torque.
The Mercedes‑Maybach GLS, meanwhile, has also been updated with new air inlet grilles that feature a Maybach pattern, complete with a chrome surround. The car also now gets new seat covers, complete with diamond-pattern quilting on their centre sections and backrests.

The performance SUV now gets a newly designed LED rear light signature, and is available in two new colours: Alpine Grey non-metallic and Sodalite Blue metallic.
The car also now bears the AMG emblem instead of the Mercedes star, as we have seen in cars including the Mercedes-AMG C63. The 603bhp 4.0-litre V8 has been retained for the AMG GLS63.
