Porsche has revealed the updated Cayenne.
Most noticeable visual change for the Porsche Cayenne are the new head lights, which are now Matrix LED items as standard. Customers will, however, be able to opt for high-definition Matrix LED items, which Porsche states not only offer more than 32,000 pixels per headlamp but are also able to regulate their brightness by more than 1,000 steps depending on the driving situation.

The major changes for the Porsche Cayenne, however, have been reserved for the cabin. Here, a new operating concept, which Porsche terms the Porsche Driver Experience, has been adopted.
This new interior layout places the functions that are frequently utilised by the driver directly on or immediately next to the steering wheel.
The gear selector lever in the new Cayenne is now located on the dashboard, making room for new storage options as well as panel for the air-conditioning controls. The redesigned cockpit of the Cayenne also now comes with a free-standing digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster, while the 12.3-inch central Porsche Communication Management system will offer native apps including Spotify and Apple Music.
12.3-inch infotainment screen can now be had with an additional optional 10.9-inch display for the front passenger More noticeable is the fact that a 10.9-inch display is now available for the first time for the front passenger. This display can offer the passenger vehicle performance data, or stream video content in selected markets.
Underneath all this new sheet metal, the steel spring suspension with the Porsche Active Suspension Management system promises both improved comfort and handling, although this can be improved still with a new adaptive air suspension with two-chamber, two-valve technology.
Under the bonnet, the 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine replaces the V6 in the Cayenne S. This engine here generates a total of 468bhp and 600Nm. The output of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, also equipped with a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, has also been raised to 650bhp.
A 3.0-litre V6 engine will serve duty in the entry model, here generating 349bhp and 500Nm. The Cayenne E-Hybrid, meanwhile, now gets a new electric motor so output is now raised to 464bhp. The battery capacity of this model is now raised to 25.9kWh, allowing an electric-only range of 90km.
