The new deal saw HT Group, with over 70 years of experience in the sector, appointed as the new distributor of VARTA batteries across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. This move will see HT Group providing access to the superior quality, reliability, and performance that VARTA's batteries are renowned for to millions of drivers across the region.
HT Group is now the appointed dealer for VARTA batteries across Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines VARTA, itself founded as early as 1887, has seen the development of vehicle batteries since the earliest cars were put on the road. The firm pioneered the use of car batteries to facilitate safer night driving, as well as the early development of both leak-proof and maintenance-free car batteries.
These innovations, amongst others, have cemented the brand's strong reputation, now supported further with backing by world-renowned manufacturer of advanced energy storage solutions and global market leader Clarios, which is working to bring the next generation of high performance and sustainable batteries.
The superior quality of VARTA and Clarios batteries is also evident in the fact that close to one in three cars in the world are powered by batteries from the two firms.

And with HT Group operating an extensive logistics network that comprises of two warehouses covering 9,290sqm located in Tuas and five delivery trucks for island-wide coverage, don't be surprised to see VARTA batteries available at a whole host of other workshops soon!
