Koenigsegg has revealed the full performance details of its latest supercar, the Agera R, which was unveiled at the recent Geneva Motor Show

The Agera R was a highlight of the Geneva Motor Show, with its show-stopping looks and unusual roof box accessory, and Koenigsegg has now revealed the full performance details of the latest supercar to come out of Sweden.

As previously reported, the Koenigsegg Agera R has a 5.0-litre V8 engine that produces 1115bhp if run on E85 ethanol fuel. On standard petrol, the Agera R can churn out 940bhp or 1050bhp, depending on whether 95 or 98 octane fuel is used. Top speed is rated at a sensational 420km/h.

The Koenigsegg Agera R also packs in vicious acceleration, with the 0-100km/h sprint dispatched in a rapid 2.9 seconds. 0-200km/h comes up in merely 7.5 seconds, while the Agera R can also go from 0-200-0km/h in an astonishing 12.7 seconds, thanks to its ventilated carbon ceramic brakes.

Koenigsegg has also released details of the features available for the Agera R, which includes an adaptive rear wing, hydraulic lifting system, satellite navigation system, G sensor, leather carpets and a silver key. Optional extras include a visible carbon body, front winglets, rear view camera, heated seats, ski box roof, skis, Inconel exhaust system and a winter wheel package.
