    Bentley has put out an official announcement confirming earlier reports that the Continental GT Speed will debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

    Following earlier reports and speculations, Bentley has now put an official annoucement to confirm that the new Continental GT Speed will make its world premierre at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012.

    Billed as the marque's fastest production model ever, the new performance flagship produces 616 horses and 799Nm of torque from its 6.0-litre 48-valve, four-cam, twin turbocharged W12 engine. With power transfered down to the pavement via a newly revised ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, 0-100 km/h in under 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 329 km/h.

    Other highlights includes a lowered, uprated suspension with unique 21-inch Speed wheels, Speed grille and exhaust pipes plus a Mulliner Driving Specification interior.
