It's Deepavali holiday today, and Lamborghini has revealed a new wall poster. Time to spring clean and update your wall with - Aventador LP700-4 Roadster. Lamborghini claims it is the most exciting 'production series' Lamborghini the company has ever built and sets a new benchmark in the world of open top luxury super sports cars. Judging from the single shot above, we can't deny. With over 1,300 units of the coupe sold, the Raging Bull is offering the convertible version of the mighty Aventador a vehicle that marries the ultimate driving experience with sports car sophistication.

The rear pillar has been redesigned to offer optimal support and accommodate an automatic protection system for passengers. Thermal efficiency of the powertrain is also taken into consideration with ample ventilation provided for the V12 beast.
Also new on the roadster is a new Dione 20/21 inch rims fashioned in light forged aluminum which reduces the weight of the vehicle by as much as 10Kg.
The engine hood on the Roadster differs from its coupe sibling thanks to a 'spine' supporting two pairs of hexagonal windows. Besides showcasing the V12 for the world to see, they also aid in cooling the engine and to drain off rain water.
The Aventador Roadster sports a two tone finish, with the windshield pillar, roof sections and area up to the 'fins' finished in gloss black while the body is finished in a soothing metallic blue 'Azzuro Thetis' colour. This special finish displays a different tone according to the angle of the light being reflected. It also pays homage to the 1968 Miura Roadster.
The Aventador Roadster accelerates to 100km/h in a lightning quick 3.0 seconds and has a maximum speed of 350km/h. The Roadster's V12 also incorporates newly introduced efficient technologies like cylinder deactivation system and instant Stop & Start.
