50 sound years and that's a memorable milestone Lamborghini has hit. To celebrate the half century achievement, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann has confirmed plans to introduce a limited edition supercar to mark the occasion.
Winkelmann has hinted that the car "will not be a revival or retro." He added that it will be very 'special' and have a one-off design.
He did not go into the specifics and hence my guess is not any better than yours, with speculations ranging from a limited edition Aventador to a production version of the Sesto Elemento concept.
The mysterious model could be introduced at the conclusion of the company's 50th Anniversary Grand Tour at the headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese on 11th May 2013. Whatever the model may turn out to be, it will be sure to excite the fans like it have done for the past 50 years.
