05 Feb 2013|5,211 views
Like the name suggests, the Edition 507 features an uprated 507bhp from the 6.3-litre V8 and a maximum torque of 610Nm thanks to technology lifted from the SLS AMG - like forged pistons, connecting rods and a lightweight crankshaft that help save almost 3kg in weight.
On top of the power boost, an in-house high performance composite braking system with striking red callipers is fitted as standard. The C 63 AMG Edition 507 propels the German sports car to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds for the saloon/coupe and 4.3 seconds for the estate before reaching the electronically limited top speed of 280km/h.

Other cosmetic enhancements include AMG sports stripes in matt graphite grey, boot spoiler lip available on the saloon/ coupe, exterior mirror housings, as well as the surrounds of the radiator grille and daytime driving lights finished in high-gloss black. The smoked headlamps also add a distinctive touch of sportiness. An exclusive designo Magno Platinum finish is also offered as an option.
The sporty yet functional interior of the C 63 AMG is even more dynamic and exclusive in the case of the 'Edition 507'. Three different equipment and appointment variants are available while the AMG Performance steering wheel is finished in Alcantara with light-coloured contrasting stitching.

Externally, the C 63 AMG 'Edition 507' is differentiated by a host of exclusive design features like the bonnet that is lifted from the C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series. New AMG light-alloy cross-spoke wheels are produced using forging technology and are available in two variants: titanium grey with a high-sheen finish, or matt black with high-sheen rim flanges.
