Kia unleashes 'Juke-ish' Provo concept ahead of Geneva
05 Mar 2013|3,564 views
Kia has announced their brand new concept model that's set for public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed the Provo concept, this model comes after Kia has promised a 'racy new urban concept', featuring a 'mischievous yet friendly grille and headlight arrangement', at the beginning of the year.
The two-door Kia Provo coupe has a light grey metallic paint with an orange roof and chromed massive alloy wheels. Several orange accents can be found on the front spoiler, brake calipers and wheel centre cap.
At the rear, there is a dual exhaust arrangement, diffuser and an interesting taillight configuration. We also notice the muscular wheel arches, slender mirrors and drilled brake discs.
The overall design seems to have drawn some inspiration from the Nissan Juke. We may assume that Kia has plans to enter a like-for-like battle with the Japanese automaker.
The interior cabin looks like a modern interpretation of a retro car, with minimum amount of buttons and leather seats with a honeycomb pattern. All dials are digital while the flat-bottomed steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara.
We sure hope the model is 'Provo-cative' in a good way when it debuts at Geneva.
