BMW's authorised dealer - Performance Motors Limited (PML) and BMW Group Asia - jointly announced their sponsorship for the International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference 2013 (IMDEX Asia). As part of the sponsorship a fleet comprising 220 units of both BMW 5 and 7 Series was officially handed over earlier to Experia Events for the three-day conference, which will be held from 14th to 16th May 2013 at Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore.

The BMW 5 Series is an internationally acclaimed luxury sedan with a host of awards attesting to its top marks on quality, safety and value retention.
Powered by the a new generation of twin turbocharged four-cylinder engine - it develops maximum power of 184bhp and peak torque of 270Nm. All that power is good for a century sprint timing of 8.0 seconds and a top speed of 226km/h despite fuel consumption figures of 6.7L/100km and CO2 emissions of 155g/km.
The BMW 740i M Sport will be fitted with the BMW M Sport package which includes the M Aerodynamic package, sports suspension, BMW Individual interior upholstery, M leather steering wheel and 19-inch M alloy wheels. Powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine the car is good for 320bhp with a maximum 450Nm of torque. It makes the century sprint at 5.7 seconds despite achieving an average fuel consumption of 7.9L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 184g/km.
