A video clip showing two cars racing each other dangerously in the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) has gone viral on YouTube.

A video clip
showing two cars racing dangerously with each other along the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and almost causing an accident has gone viral on YouTube and since garnered a staggering 80,000 views.

The clip was uploaded by a user named Cory Tan and was filmed at 4:38pm on Wednesday 24th July for 1 minute and 9 seconds.

At the beginning of the clip, a red car emerges from the left of the frame and cuts into the path of the car with the in-car camera. Seconds later, a black car, believed to be a Hyundai Tuscani, rushes in from the right and makes a dash for the same spot in the middle lane.

It comes very close to ramming into the red car, which seemed to be a Mercedes-Benz, before quickly swerving to the right - into the path of another car. The video goes on to show the black car weaving in and out of lanes without signalling.

The drama continues after the cars emerge from the tunnel near the Tampines Road exit. The black car is shown veering into the path of the red car, once again coming close to ramming its side.

The Straits Times reported that most netizens were horrified by the attitude of the drivers and they urged the person who submitted the video to send it to the authorities.

Anyone with information about the incident can lodge a police report.
