Service disruption between Raffles Place and Marina Bay MRT stations

Train services were disrupted between Raffles Place and Marina Bay MRT stations on the North-South line yesterday afternoon. According to the local paper, train operator SMRT tweeted the loss of service between the stations, on both directions,  at around 3:15pm due to a track fault.

Another tweet from SMRT at 3:30pm, revealed services to have resumed, but trains were travelling at a slower pace. Eventually operations between the two stations were back to normal at around 3:50pm.
