A road bully, who had the tables turned on him when two videos of his reckless driving went viral, has apologised for his actions after his family received death threats, reported The Straits Times. Mr. Quek Zhen Hao was featured in two YouTube clips of separate incidents, which involved him tailgating, overtaking and braking dangerously in his grey Honda Civic sedan.
On Wednesday evening, he uploaded an eight-minute video apologising after claiming that his family received death threats. "Yes, I'm rude. Am I sorry? Yes, I should not have behaved the way I did and yes I am very sorry about it. And yes, I will definitely be punished and I know my actions have consequences," said Mr. Quek, who appeared to be at home reading off a script.
Mr. Quek also pleaded with netizens to remove his parents' address from the Internet as well as photos of his girlfriend. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the police said they were investigating both videos.
