Mycarforum visits the Maxus MIFA 7 Elite!

Those who attended the latest Mycarforum hangout with Maxus got up close with the MIFA 7 Elite and experienced all that it has to offer!
MPVs are an increasingly attractive option to buyers with big families or those who want more space and comfort. Sometimes, the only way to really find out if a car is for you is to experience it yourself, which is what the lucky few who joined us on 30 April 2026 at the Maxus showroom did.
And with the MIFA 7 Elite toning down a few "bells and whistles" as compared to the Premium variant to hit a more desirable price point, a total of around 30 guests came down to get to know more about Maxus' newest kid on the block.
Before we get into things, here's a little bit about the brand, which is backed by Cycle & Carriage Singapore. It was established back in 2011 under SAIC Motor and offers a diverse range of vehicles that include MPVs, pickup trucks, and light commercial vans. Maxus is also big on electric mobility, as seen from its global lineup of electrified options.
On a cool Thursday evening, the event was hosted by Jeremy of Sgcarmart, who shared with the guests more about his experience with the MIFA 7 Elite, having driven the car himself. A minimalist design offers a less-cluttered interior, with space a big part of its offering. And while the driver's and captain's chair do not offer memory, ventilation, or heating functions, the seats are comfortable and provide armrests, ticking all the boxes for a basic setup.
After a brief introduction to the MIFA 7 Elite's many features, guests were gathered for a quick group photo shot, before being allowed to roam the showroom and get up close and personal with it. Attendees were also able to test drive the MPV to get a more realistic feel of how it handles on the road.
And with quite a few guests in serious discussion with the brand's representatives, methinks the MIFA 7 Elite is slowly gaining traction amongst those looking for a "family" car.
Guests were also treated to a lucky draw, where a digital wheel was spun to determine the three fortunate winners who walked away with NTUC FairPrice vouchers with values of $100, $150, and $200!
Some families were also in attendance, probably to determine if the MIFA 7 Elite could fit their needs
