The feat makes the Caterham Seven, the firm's lightest car yet, the highest a car has ever been built above ground level.
Caterham is launching the new Seven 170 in the U.K. on the British Airways i360 pod in Brighton, 137m above sea level.
The Caterham Seven 170's 1,470mm width and 660cc engine allow it to comply with Japan's world-famous Kei car regulations.
