Rail operator SMRT expects fewer train breakdowns on the Circle Line after having replaced all 120km of its power cables.
Cable works are scheduled for the Circle Line on 27th October, and will likely affect travelling time between Labrador Park and Harbourfront stations.
The Circle Line will be closed on two Sunday mornings this month for power cable replacement works to be carried out.
SMRT aims to speed up the power cable replacement programme on the Circle Line by temporarily closing stretches of the line on two Sundays later this month.
