The YU7 GT fitted with the Track Package has achieved a world first in autonomous driving, completing the full 20.8km Nurburgring circuit without a driver.
This achievement follows a new partnership between Xiaomi EV and Nurburgring, which will see the former accelerate EV development on the latter's racetrack.
The Xiaomi SU7 is set to come with a power output of up to 570bhp, which will allow it to hit 100km/h from a standstill in 2.8 seconds.
The Chinese tech giant, most known for its smartphones and smart home appliances, is steadily gearing up to enter the EV field.
