Xiaomi SU7 Ultra breaks record at Nurburgring Nordschleife

Xiaomi EV has announced that a series production example of its SU7 Ultra has set the Fastest Electric Executive Vehicle record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife with a lap time of 7:04.957 minutes.
Equipped with the optional track package, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra conquered the legendary circuit on its first attempt.
The production model of the SU7 Ultra implements track-proven engineering solutions, maintaining both the complete "three core electric technologies" (electric motor, power battery, and motor control unit) and the identical tri-motor configuration from its SU7 Ultra prototype.
Its powertrain setup, consisting of two V8s e-motors and one V6s e-motor, delivers a maximum power output of 1,139kW, a century sprint timing of 1.98 seconds, and a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
As the ultimate test of technology and the birthplace of innovation, the Nurburgring Nordschleife's high-speed, high-temperature conditions pushes EV powertrains to their limits. Xiaomi EV has also recently reached a deep cooperation with the Nurburgring by becoming its new premium partner. Moreover, a new "Xiaomi Curve" has also been added to the racetrack.
This also allows Xiaomi EV to leverage the partnership to accelerate EV development by using the legendary circuit as a proving ground for next-generation technologies.
