Aston Martin will conduct further handling tests on the One-77 during the next year, but the new supercar is already on course to become the fastest road-legal Aston Martin ever built. With its weight of just 1500kg, the One-77 is capable of sprinting from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds.
The two-door, two-seater supercar uses a carbon fibre monocoque chassis powered by a 7.3 litre V12 engine mounted in the front that produces 750bhp, with power being sent to the rear wheels through a new six-speed robotized gearbox with paddles shifters on the steering wheel. As the name suggests, only 77 examples of the exclusive cars will be built, with the first examples to be delivered by mid-2010
