Audi A2 e-tron undergoes testing

Audi has announced that the upcoming A2 e-tron has been undergoing testing and is now set to make its premiere come late 2026.

Prototypes of the car are now undergoing winter testing in Lapland, Sweden to develop its driving dynamics and test its thermal management system and battery performance.

The car is additionally said to be undergoing wind tunnel testing at the Audi Technical Development centre at Ingolstadt, Germany, where the distinctive roofline of the classic A2 - carried over onto this new A2 e-tron - is being tested and optimised at wind speeds of up to 300km/h.

Audi adds that the car is additionally being tested on the winding roads of Bavaria, Germany to fine test its suspension and assistance systems in real road traffic.

The all-electric Audi A2 e-tron is set to be built at the Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt.
