Audi prepares High Voltage Competence Centre for e-tron
16 Dec 2019|983 views
In the coming months, Audi will see the arrival of its e-tron fully-electric SUV here in Singapore. In preparation for the arrival, the Audi High Voltage Competence Centre (HVCC) located in Singapore has been gearing up to equip the Audi experts in the region with the skills and capabilities to support such an innovative and high-tech mode.

Concurrently, the centre has also been equipped the latest hardware in tandem with developments at the headquarters in Germany. This includes the high-voltage charging station, tooling and - most recently - a fully-functional prototype of the Audi e-tron.
The prototype, clad in a striking, camouflage design that visualises the high-voltage drive system and battery technology underpinning the car, was part of the test fleet used prior to the start of production before taking on its current role as a training tool at the High Voltage Competence Centre.
Having a working prototype at the Centre gives trainees the opportunity to move beyond simulations. The vehicle is used for diagnostics, software updates and various technical solutions and training that are specific to the Audi e-tron.
In the coming months, the Audi e-tron will be making its way onto showrooms around the region. With Singapore being slated to receive its first customer-bound unit very shortly, consumers can be sure that their Audi e-trons will be supported by the very best in the business.
