The new site in Berlin will work with on development of future technologies and products for the newly formed Bugatti Rimac.

Bugatti Rimac has announced that it will open a new engineering and design centre in Berlin, Germany.

The new centre comes as part of the first major move since both firms announced their merger last year. The new design centre will house the new group's design and engineering teams, currently tasked with developing future Bugatti Rimac technologies and products, and will work hand-in-hand with their colleagues at the Bugatti Rimac headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia.

The Berlin site will also house the Procurement, Finance, Program Management, IT, Legal and Marketing teams of the new group. Bugatti Rimac states that the location in Berlin was deliberately chosen as one of the most vibrant, creative and innovative areas of Germany.

The Bugatti Rimac group is also set to locate their global headquarters near Zagreb, Croatia, at a brand new, 100,000m2 Rimac Campus, as part of the merger. Bugatti meanwhile, will maintain its production facilities in Molsheim, France, where it will continue to manufacture its cutting-edge hypercars.
