In the first round of bidding for October, Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices rose for Cat B and E, while those for Cat A and C slipped.
Dealers may have been bidding more aggessively this session in order to secure COEs before the announcement of an anticipated reduction in COE supply come November, as well as for the anticipated sales from the various 10.10 sales planned for this month. Cat A and Cat E for example, continued to see more bids being placed this round, even when compared against last month's already active bidding session.
