Hot June, Scirocco Cup Malaysia is ready

This will be the only Scirocco Cup China event held outside of the People's Republic to show the rest of Asia how advanced Chinese motorsports has become. It is also the first Volkswagen Scirocco Cup China race held outside China which proves the success of the series and the immense interests it is creating in the world of motorsports.

The Sepang event will coincide with the Japanese GT racing series, combining to become an adrenaline filled weekend for the drivers and the spectators alike. At this event, each driver will be given the chance to test themselves on one of the most technically advanced Formula 1 circuits in Asia, while dealing with the extreme heat and humidity that even Formula 1 drivers find challenging. This circuit will test every driver to the limit and it will take all of their skills and fitness to come out on top at this weekend's event.

After the fierce fighting in Zhuhai between all the drivers who want to stamp their authority in the season opener, we can see the Drivers' Championship developing to show the favorites of the season. Sun Zheng gained 27 points due to his wonderful performance in both rounds, taking an early lead in the championship fight. Eric Koh, the winner of race two gained 21 points in the first two rounds and is closely behind the leader.

Zhang Da Sheng, Saturday's main race winner takes the third position with 20 points. Kenny Lo, Andrea Reggiani, Yin Hai Tao are all also in hot pursuit as they are ranked from fourth to sixth respectively.
