The cars will parade through San Francisco's main thoroughfares to build support for Busan's bid to host the World Expo 2023.

The Hyundai Motor Group is once again taking its 14 art cars on tour.

This time, the fleet is visiting San Francisco, and will be exhibited until 17 November 2023, to coincide with the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Week. The cars are being presented to draw up support for Busan's bid to host the 2030 World Expo.

The art car exhibition will be held at Fisherman Wharf's Pier 39, a major landmark and popular tourist destination in San Francisco

The fleet comprises of Hyundai's Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, as well as the Genesis G80 sedan. The models come wrapped in graffiti artwork created by Korean Artist Jay Flow, designed to portray the enegetic spirit of the port city via their vivid motifs, iconic scenery, and the slogan 'Busan is Ready'.

The art car exhibition will be held at Fisherman Wharf's Pier 39, a major landmark and popular tourist destination in San Francisco, following which, the cars will also take a tour through San Francisco's main thoroughfares, with the intention of familiarising tourists and residents with the beauty of Busan's culture, and to highlight the city's readiness to host the 2030 World Expo.

The art cars have already made multiple stops in key worldwide cities including as New York, New Delhi and Jakarta, and have also been showcased at major events in Europe, such as the 172nd General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions in Paris last June and the Davos World Economic Forum in Switzerland last January.
