Lamborghini collaborates with photographer Anton Corbijn
It looks like Lamborghini just can't get enough of the Revuelto.
After launching it here in Singapore and showcasing it in Paris alongside a fashion show, the firm has now announced that it has celebrated the car by involving one of the world's greatest photographers, Anton Corbijn.
Corbijn has produced a series of exclusive images with the car, applying his incomparable eye to its stunning yet highly efficient form. The all-new hybrid V12 super sports car was shot over two days in the Dolomite mountains, where Corbijn had to channel his 50 years of experience and vision into a subject he’s less well-known for: An automobile.
Corbijn began his career as a music photographer in his homeland before relocating to London in the late Seventies. He has spent the last decade honing his style to the extent that his work is now said to be instantly recognisable. The photographer has shot some of the defining images for artists including David Bowie, Miles Davis, Joy Division, Gerhard Richter, Marlene Dumas, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, and is also attributed for aiding to establish the creative direction of Depeche Mode and U2.
Lamborghini states that it was this approach which it was thrilled to embrace when approaching Corbijn for photographs of the Revuelto. The car's carbon fibre monofuselage, and 6.5-litre V12 aided by three electric motors, are all state-of-the-art, and a formidable combination which Lamborghini states proved inspiring to Corbijn.
