Lamborghini Revuelto charges into Singapore

The all-new Lamborghini Revuelto, the successor to the Aventador, is now officially in Singapore.
Launched at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre, the Revuelto is positioned as the first Lamborghini High Performance Electric Vehicle (HPEV). It is also billed as the first "super sports V12 plug-in hybrid" and boasts no less than 1,001bhp (1,015 CV).
Said V12 powertrain consists of a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 and three electric motors - two on the front axle and one on the rear axle. The V12 produces 725Nm of torque at 6,750rpm.
The electric motors are fed by a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery, which can either be recharged using regenerative braking, the V12 engine (in six minutes) or an external charger (30 minutes).
The Revuelto also marks the first time that a V12-powered Lamborghini is paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. At full tilt, the coupe can crush the century sprint in 2.5 seconds and with enough unrestricted tarmac, top out at over 350km/h.
Stopping power, on the other hand, is provided by a new and enhanced braking system. The Carbon Ceramic Brakes Plus (CCB Plus) consist of 410mm discs in front with 10-piston callipers and 390mm discs with four-piston callipers in the rear.
In comparison, the Aventador Ultimae features 400mm discs with six-piston callipers up front and 380mm discs with four-piston callipers at the rear. Channelling cool air to them are the grilles found on the wheel arches, and two NACA ducts in front of the rear wheels.
Underpinning the Revuelto is the aircraft-inspired monofuselage chassis, a monocoque built from multi-tech carbon fibre, while the front structure is made from Forged Composites. Lamborghini claims that the Revuelto is the first super sports car to be fitted with a carbon fibre front structure.
As a result, the new monofuselage is 10% lighter than the Aventador's chassis and is 25% stiffer as well.
The interior has been improved, too, with more legroom and headroom accorded to the driver and front passenger. This makes it easier for owners wearing helmets to drive their cars on track.
Apart from the increased space, the Revuelto also features a new dashboard with three digital displays: A 12.3-inch instrument panel for the driver, an 8.4-inch screen for the infotainment, and a 9.1-inch display for the front passenger.
In addition, Lamborghini says that the Revuelto is their first model that implements "a complete ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) for the first time." Functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Change Warning are on hand to help secure occupants.
The Lamborghini Revuelto is priced from $2,575,000 with GST, excluding COE and options. A spokesperson would not reveal how many orders have been taken but said that there was "healthy interest".
