Ever looked at a Mercedes-Benz G-Class and thought it needed just a bit of a more ruged touch? Well neither have we, but Mercedes has nonetheless gone ahead and added a new Professional Line exterior option for the venerable off-roader for those looking for a G-Class with more presence still.
The exterior trim option adds stone guard grilles for the head lights, mud flaps on the front and rear wheels, as well as chunky tyres and 18-inch five-spoke matt black wheels.
Other features for the exterior trim include a Professional spare wheel holder on the rear door and the Professional roof rack on which, among other things, a roof tent can be erected, transforming the G-Class into an off-road camper van. And like the wheels, these two options are also finished in matte black for a harmonious overall look.
The exterior mirror housings, Mercedes star and number plate holder for this G-Class are also finished in black as part of the optional Night package. Inside, the black leather upholstery and open-pore ash veneer with black tinting underline the high degree of the G-Class' opportunities for individualisation.
