MINI Special Editions to celebrate the 2012 London Olympics

MINI will build 2,012 examples of the London Olympics special edition models, in Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S and Cooper SD trims. Three colours are available, Chilli Red, White Silver or Lightning Blue, and the cars will be offered in three-door hatchback form.

All MINI London Olympics special edition cars get white mirror caps and a white roof with the London 2012 Olympic graphic. Other exterior features include a unique Union Jack single sport stripe running over the bonnet, roof and rear tailgate, while special graphics can also be found on the side scuttles. There is also a newly designed set of unique grey 17-inch conical spoke alloy wheels, exclusive to the car.

Inside, the MINI London Olympics special edition features the London skyline etching on the passenger side supplemented by the words “London 1 of 2012”, while the Union Jack colour theme continues on the headrest piping as well as with the red and blue stitching twined with white piping on both the front and rear Black ‘Lounge Leather’ upholstery. A London 2012 logo is stitched on the inner edge of both front seats, and standard features include Lounge Leather sports seats, DAB radio, air conditioning, cruise control and chrome interior touches.
