When one speaks of Pamela Anderson, an image of the Baywatch actress running on the beach or the time she featured in the Borat movie may come to mind. Yet, the actress and ex-model appears keen to add yet another feat to her impressive resume with her latest involvement with car racing, being listed as a founder of a racing team.
According to reports, Anderson has either started or taken over a team, named Downforce1 Racing. As per the team’s website, “Downforce1 was founded by Pamela Anderson in winter 2011, but the team has “10 years racing experience,” a fact punctuated by “10 Years Racing” logos throughout the site.
It is said that Downforce1 will campaign an Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT2 in the European Le Mans series, as well as in International GT Open competition. The car will sport a white and blue livery, which Anderson referred to as her signature colour. Anderson is reportedly also excited to build a team for Nascar 2013, although that may take a considerable time from now to realise.
