Porsche Singapore is expanding the range of optional equipment for the all-electric Cayenne. In addition to new design options, other technical innovations are also finding their way into the configurator. This applies both to the Cayenne Electric in its classic SUV format, and to the striking Cayenne Coupe Electric.
One of the headline additions is the introduction of electrically operated doors, available as an option for the first time on the Cayenne Electric. Using servo motors, all four doors can be opened and closed automatically with a light pull of the handle. Occupants can also control the doors through cabin buttons, the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system, or remotely via the Porsche Digital Key. Drivers can even close the driver's door automatically by fastening their seatbelt or pressing the brake pedal.
Porsche Singapore says the system has been designed with everyday usability and safety in mind. Sensors continuously monitor the area around the vehicle, stopping door movement if an obstacle or person is detected. When paired with assistance systems such as exit warning, the doors can also prevent opening into the path of approaching traffic. Manual operation remains possible at all times.
The new model year also brings an upgraded massage function with integrated 4D audio technology for the front seats. Both front seats feature 16 air cushions and six sound actuators, offering five selectable massage programmes with adjustable vibration intensity. The system combines massage and sound to create a more immersive wellness experience, while three additional Wellness Mood Modes integrate tailored massage and audio settings.
Customers looking for greater individuality will benefit from an expanded colour palette. Alongside standard finishes, metallic colours including Mystic Green, Algarve Blue, Napali Blue, and Madeira Gold are available at no additional cost. Buyers can also access Porsche's Paint to Sample programme for the Cayenne Electric, increasing the available palette to 105 exterior paint colours.
Inside, Porsche has expanded its bespoke interior offerings. The existing Interior Style Package, developed by Style Porsche and Exclusive Manufaktur, combines black and exclusive green tones in a distinctive two-tone design. A new Extended Package Interior Style adds extra leather trim and decorative stitching in Delgada Green, while new leather and Race-Tex trim options for seat consoles and interior sill panels further increase personalisation possibilities.
The updates apply to both the standard SUV-bodied Cayenne Electric and the more sporting Cayenne Coupe Electric, reinforcing Porsche's focus on combining luxury, technology and extensive customisation in its upcoming flagship electric SUV range.
Pricing for these new options has yet to be announced.
