Seat has revamped the Ateca for 2020.
The new vehicle will build on its SUV attributes while adding a refreshed and more emotional appearance both inside and outside, a fully connected user experience, and improved levels of comfort and efficiency.
On the exterior, the Ateca has grown in length by 18mm to a total of 4,381mm due to the new design of the front and rear bumpers, but remains as wide (1,841mm) and tall (1,615mm) as the current model. Traditional Ateca design cues remain, such as the precise, flowing lines and muscular arches, while a new front grille, bumper and full LED headlamps refreshes the front aesthetic.
At the rear, the design has been further chiselled to emphasise the powerful shoulders that enclose the impressive 510-litre load space.
A new rear bumper, the introduction of full LED taillights with dynamic (sweeping) indicators (on the FR and Xperience trims), and new exhaust pipe covers complement the vehicle's design. The Ateca will also take the updated nameplate with the 'Ateca' name now embossed in the new handwriting style.
The exterior colour options for the Seat Ateca has also been extended to 10, and now comprises two solid colours (Bila White, Energy Blue) and eight metallic paint finishes (Dark Camouflage, Lava Blue, Velvet Red, Rhodium Grey, Reflex Silver, Black Magic, Crystal Black, Nevada White).

A new voice recognition system also features in the 2020 Ateca, and allows the user to interact with the infotainment system using natural commands. Those in the car simply need to say "Hola Hola" in order to activate the system.
The new Seat Ateca's interior fit and finish has also been enhanced with the introduction of new door designs and materials, along with stitching across the panels. The driver benefits from a newly-designed and upholstered steering wheel.
Three petrol engine are available for international markets on the new Ateca.

With a power output of 148bhp, the larger capacity four-cylinder 1.5-litre TSI is also available with both a manual or a DSG dual-clutch transmission, and achieves reduced fuel consumption and greater efficiency by integrating Active Cylinder Management technology, which adapts the engine to work with only two cylinders in certain driving conditions.
The most powerful petrol option is a four-cylinder 188bhp 2.0-litre TSI unit that is linked to a DSG dual-clutch transmission. Seat's 4Drive all-wheel drive system is also offered with this engine for a dynamic on-road and off-road driving experience.
