Suzuki has announced that its first mass-produced BEV, the e VITARA, will be installed with the eAxle, a joint development by BluE Nexus Corporation, Aisin Corporation, and DENSO Corporation.

Developed based on the "Emotional Versatile Cruiser" concept, the e VITARA features a design combining a modern and powerful feel and a BEV powertrain delivering the brisk and sharp driving performance expected of a BEV.

The newly adopted eAxle uses a small motor and inverter to achieve high power density and high dynamic performance, as well as loss reduction technology for excellent electrical consumption. It will be supplied and manufactured by BluE's Indian subsidiary, as the Suzuki e VITARA will also be made in India.

BluE, Aisin, and DENSO will continue to develop compact, highly efficient, low-cost products by utilising their expertise and strengths. The three companies will also contribute to the goal of a carbon neutral society by implementing their products in EVs of every kind through BluE.
