Consumer Reviews

I have been driving this for almost 5years now. It a good SUV, no major problem and I must say, I am happy with Komoco servicng and warranty. The only thing bad about this SUV is the fuel consumption. I managed to get 9km/litre. The other bad thing is it lack of the sunroof. It's a very safe vehicle. Once, a car hit me from behind while it I was stopping at a red light. All the SUV got was a dented rear door but the car that crashed into mine was badly damaged. Well 5 years is almost up and I am changing to another SUV. This car has served me well... except for the money spent on petrol.

This car is very steady on the expressway, even cruising at 120-140km/hr (NS hiway). Sound dampening is great, making it a quiet ride. I'm consistently getting 9.5km/ltr on 50-50 (city/hiway) for past 3 yrs, using Caltext ron95.

This car averages about 8km/L. Its super taxing on the pocket. Don't believe me? Just check it out on other sites as well. Everyone says the same thing. The high fuel consumption hits hard esp in Singapore, where fuel prices are so high.
Other than the bad fuel economy, I would say that the exterior and interior styling are pretty good for a relatively low price tag. However, the Tucson faces fierce competition from the Rush and Terios which are way better buys hough they are a tat smaller.
