Lamborghini -Gallardo -Never mess with a Bull.. No matter how young it may be..
I am A HUGE fan of Lamborghini since i was a young boy till now. So recently, i had a chance to test drive this Baby Bull. The LP 560-4 (A). Since Audi owns Lamborghini now, they have created a supercar which is reliable, a styling that turns heads a full 360 degrees, and a performance that blows your face away with a remarkable 560BHP V10 engine which creates a sound worth begging for more. Now, lets talk more about the car. The performance. It is powered by a 5litre V10 giving it a superb 560BHP that allows it to reach 0-100km/h in a staggering 3.7secs which has a top speed of about 318 km/h (`est 197mph) along with a 4 Wheel Drive system. I brought the car to Town to just rev around and make a hell lot of noise. Then came the expressway. It was about 1am, and i stepped on the gas, the car accelerated like a mad bull and the sound of its V10 screamed and pierced through the night silence. It was absolutely stunning. In the car however, there is enough space for 2 big adults to sit comfortably and there is a good wide view of the outside while driving. And handling wise, it is so far one of the easiest supercar to drive even while driving at breakneck speeds. It is also very much easier to park due to its smaller size and better handling as to compared to a Ferrari F430 or maybe a Murcielago. The steering is more responsive as to compared to the older Gallardo 520BHP V10 where it wasn't always very eager and responsive to steer and handle though. But however great it may be, this car HAS its downsides, which i don't really like to talk about it because it is a superbly good supercar. But i have to. The Price is a turn-off and a killer blackhole in pocket. This car is priced at about 900K with COE and it is not THAT practical however. The huge servicing and running costs will kill you alive if you are an average wage-earned employee like myself. Unless you have 6-8 figure salaries per annum or your dad is a CEO of a big ass company, then this car is for might just be the one for you.The fuel is also another problem. It supposedly runs about 7km to a litre and that does not sound very pleasing to my wallet. But however expensive this car may costs to own and run, it is a piece of remarkable supercar engineering by Audi and it is a supercar to DIE for. It is just exceptionally good with crazy performance for people to unleash the bulls awaiting in the car..... Read More
