Nissan has given its Dualis, or Qashqai in export markets, crossover a few mild upgrades to keep it refreshed

Tan Chong motors has finally launched the sales of the Nissan Qashqai (pronounced "Cash-kai") crossover, with prices starting from $81,000

Demand for the Nissan Qashqai has outstripped the supply. With China appointed manufacturer, Dongfeng Nissan, being able to produce only 30,000 Qashqais this year, they are expected to sell out before December.

Here's the thing - Nissan deliberately named their latest crossover concept the Qashqai, believing that like the tribe itself, buyers of this car will be nomadic in nature. Ironically, the name spun many humorous puns around the world, courtesy of a few ignorant "car enthusiasts.".
