I bought the Viva as a second car and am very impressed by this little gem. Drive is smooth but a little bumpy. Good for simple commutes.
Wouldn't recommend long distance drives to Malaysia.
Cheap maintanence
-cheap price
-easy to park
-economical fuel consumption
-noisy
-plastic interior

A lot of western car reviews gave lousy remarks to Malaysian made car but in my opinion not so for Perodua, it is a mindset. It is the brand used by almost half the malaysian nation for more than a decade. Was deciding between KIA Piccanto and Perodua Viva but eventually chose Viva because of certain aspects such as ABS, air bags, DVVT engine, larger interior and slightly cheaper maintenance. No regrets buying this car, totally love it!
Exterior styling is really cool, quite spacious interior (I am 181 cm and can sit in comfortably with plenty of leg room still for rear passengers), ABS, airbags, affordable price, good fuel saving, good engine power (DVVT). Cheap spare parts. Engine noise not too loud to me, still acceptable (it is much better than other car of the same range)
The car body: feels like it is made of very light aluminum material. Feels the unsteadiness when driving over 100KM/H

Have test drive this car before. Quite powerful for car in its class. Good FC too although abit expensive for a litre car. Overall can consider buying for small family or single drivers.
Accessories, Engine, FC
Pricing, Too cramped for 3 adults and 2 children, Limited boot space but who cares its a hatchback. Too expensive for a litre Malaysian car, Perodua should wake up, China car provides more competition and styling.
