Consumer Reviews

My first car was a 306, loved it and only sold because I moved countries. By then Peugeot were going through a "funk". Never looked at Peugeot again until I came across the 508sw. Have driven for >1000 km and very pleased.

Drive off from standstill is smooth and feel of power. No under steer when doing a U-turn. All passengers have sufficient comfy space in cabin. Noise level is kept to a Silence level.

Collected the car and driven it for about 1000 km.
Having previously owned a Peugeot 206 (1.4A), a Peugeot 307SW (2.0A), an Elantra, a Nissan and currently still owning a Citroen C4 (1.6A), this Peugeot 508SW (1.6THP) is obviously in a different league in terms of handling, comfort, features and performance. It may not be a 'Premier League' car in the likes of Mercs & BMWs but it is definitely a top Division one car among its comtempories.
Every car has its idiosyncracies and faults. Similarly, there are a few in the 508SW which I am able to ignore them.
Enjoying the time with it.

Test drove Citroen C5, VW Passat, B200 and A4.
Other than the front hydraulic suspension, 508 beats C5 hands down.
Passat and A4 are both 1.8L thus more powerful pickup. However, they cost much more with less features.
For B200, the cheap 7" console display is an eye sore on an otherwise pleasant car.
