Consumer Reviews

Ford was not in my consideration set until a coincidental test-drive which led to a subsequent purchase.
On the performance:
Responsive. Powerful but tend to be a little loud when I push it slightly more than 120km/h. When going uphill at Genting, I used the recommended (S-Gear) but was taken aback by the loud revving (up to 6.5 x 1000) before changing to the next gear. Honestly, it sounded like as though I was torturing it real badly. To be fair, the drive mode (D-gear) was good enough to bring me up the steep elevations along Genting Highlands.
On the Handling:
Precise handling sums up the experience. Even as I drove through a puddle in a heavy rain, the car was within manageable control though it did "float" for a few milliseconds before regaining its steady form. Manoeuvring through sharp bends at comfortable speeds are also made possible with a combination of supportive driver seat and reliable steering wheel. Another thing I like about this car is the sensitive brakes which puts me in control whenever I have to do emergency braking to avoid accidents.
On the Features:
No complains at all. I totally love the sound system, one of the best factory-fitted speakers I have experienced. Loud bass, clear surround sound, steering wheel function buttons are plus points. Other "mini" features which usually do not play a major role in carbuyer's decision making process includes bluetooth handsfree, Iphone Aux Port and keypad for dialing.
On the Interior:
5 grown ups with no fear of numb legs and shoulder rubbing incidents during a long drive. Boot space is a little on the stingy side as compared to my previous car but its enough for me to do a week's grocery shopping on weekends.
On the exterior:
I still have a fetish on the previous model in which it looks sportier. The new Focus Hatchback is a refined car with a non-provocative look which I am skeptical about.
On the Fuel Consumption:
Crowd Pleaser. At 11-14km/l on average depending on the roads i'm on. It is on par with most car available in the market category.
If you're looking for a compact family car with superior features, this is it.

iv never owned this car but judging by just the looks, its by far the sexiest looking hatch to me, as compared to other japanese or korean hatch. looks classy without a classy price tag.
