GREAT CAR. Average at best sales and aftersales.
Bought this car in aug 2015. One of the last few batches of d2 version.
Engine torque is amazing and i find myself driving in sport mode alot. Handles like a dream even for a front wheel drive car. Overtaking is easy and quick. No body roll.
Acceleration stated 12.1 is totally not true, this goes alot quicker i can assure you.
Reliabilty too early to say, worried about the dual clutch gearbox. Banging on the fact that it is a wet clutch, should be better for our weather and driving style. Heard around volvo has a clean record, its also a quality item. Feels made to last.
i average about 18kml, a big difference from my old jap car (8kml). Fuel is also cheaper than bottled water. I top up full when its about 2/10. Costs me 38 +/- :D

Prior to my purchase, I've been looking at others like Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes but Volvo V40 stood out from the rest in areas like safety features, handling and pricing within its class. To make it more special, I have chosen the blue colour which Volvo only brings in 1 or less in a month, thus making my car slightly more unique on the road.... Read More
