Price:
Price is subjective but imho you get what you pay for. The i4's build quality is quintessentially German. Sit down in the cabin and everything feels premium and generally well built. Tesla Model 3 on the other hand feels comparatively cheap and less sturdy, but again you get what you pay for and you benefit from the superior battery technology in Tesla.
Handling/Performance:
Steering is accurate and responsive. When put through its paces, despite its hefty weight and thanks to the instantaneous torque from its rear mounted electric motor, its really easy to hit illegal speeds without noticing. Yes you can do the same in the model 3, but it doesnt give the same level of driver feedback that the i4 does. It is really the driver centric focus of BMW that sets it apart from Tesla. Its easy to go fast in a straight line but a whole different thing to do it as a complete package.
Regenerative braking in "B" Mode takes some getting used to, it can be motion sickness inducing.
Exterior:
MSport body kit is definitely more sporty and attractive than the previous Luxury line. Car now comes factory fitted with MSport big brake kit. Nice
Interior:
SG Spec edrive35s do not come with sunroofs which i feel is a shame. The new flat bottom steering wheel is a welcome breath of fresh air. Rear door opening aperture is small but i guess this is to be expected from a gran coupe. The brushed interior trim feels rather gimmicky, im inclined to swap it out for the Mperformance Alcantara trim. IDrive 8.5 is a step up from iDrive8, much easier to navigate. The much raved iconic sounds is futuristic but you soon forget about it.
Battery/electric motor:
Compared to its eDrive40 big brother, the eDrive35 has a noticeable drop in range and a marginable drop in performance in exchange for "Cheaper" Road tax. This is where Tesla shines, relatively longer range and you dont have to "Worry" About over charging the battery. In order to maximise the battery's lifespan, BMW advises owners to avoid charging the battery over 80 percent; Unless you need it for long drives. This effectively means that you need to charge more frequently.

This is my review after driving it for a 1000km

Could be better:
360 degree camera!
Adaptive headlights.

Love the drive. Very responsive. Feature rich. You truly know that you're in a premium Sedan. The super customisable OS 8 is the icing on the cake.
