A Mercedes-Benz should be above all comfortable, and the EQE SUV lives up to that expectation. It is however the absence of air suspension is noticeable as the body leans significantly. In Sport mode, the steering becomes sharper, but the body roll and hefty curb weight of 2,560 kgs limit sporty driving. Thus, the air suspension is a must-have option.
Comfortable ride. Typical EV drive. Full of safety features to aid in driving. Design takes awhile to fall in love with.
The car is really heavy. Pickup is decent but needs longer breaking distance due to its weight.
Recommended using range is from 20% to 80% of charge. So that translates to effective mileage of at most 400km. Takes around 5 hours and half to charge from 20 to 80%.
This is acceptable for Singapore roads and I normally charge in every 3 days.
So far so good.
What is there to say about the EQE? In many ways it simply feels like a smaller version of the EQS - but without feeling quite as special.
