Test drive the car and made decision to purchase it! Interior design and material feel so luxury! Handling is very good, especially when taking cornering the car is very stable, becos of Mazda GVC technology!
Engine is powerful enough for SG road, if there is 2.5 L model would be more better! The 6AT transmission is so smart and quickly, it’S really much better than CVT!

I recently upgraded from a Mazda 3 HB to the Mazda CX-5 Mild Hybrid, needing the extra space for a new family member. I was initially torn between the Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, and Mazda CX-5. The Toyota was my top pick, but its higher price made me reconsider. The Subaru was the most affordable, but I wasn't entirely convinced by its design. In the end, the Mazda CX-5 won my heart, thanks to the excellent trade-in value I received for my Mazda 3 HB from TEK. Overall why the Mazda CX-5? - The comfort, reliability (Made In Japan) fuel efficiency (Mild Hybrid) and the overall design (latest 2024 facelift), both the interior (10.1'' screen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto / plush upholstery) and exterior (fierce sporty look) made it the perfect choice.

Mazda's CX-5 is now upgraded with the firm's latest infotainment software, and now comes with the added benefit of mild hybrid technology.
There's a classy interior in here, full of near-premium car materials, although a splash of colour would be appreciated here. Everything looks and feels dark. Space is ok at the front, almost enough at the rear.
It hardly feels like it. The engine is largely gutless when pushed, and the gearbox always shys away from higher rpms (unusual for a Mazda), making this CX-5 feel always slow.

Mazda's CX-5 now comes with mild hybrid technology, so you get better economy for your family ferry. But is it any good?
Sleek exterior design aside, the CX-5 comes with a classy interior as well. Its full of softly padded surfaces, and the predominant use of black is a nice touch. The mild hybrid also gets an upgraded infotainment system - more like the one used on the 3 as opposed to the generation before. It's not a touchscreen but that means your greasy fingers won't leave unsightly marks on the screen - very nice.
Overall its an ok vehicle if you're shopping for transport for the family.
Steering feels dead slow off centre - almost as if there's some play that has not been dialled out. And the engine is hopelessly weak.

Previous car is the 2018 2.0 Nissan Qashqai and the new 2024 CX5 did not disappoint at all!
Better drive and handling made even better with the more reliable 6AT rather than the CVT.
Fuel consumption is a good 14-15km/l (to me) compared to my Qashqai with 11-12km/l. The CX5 being heavier and also higher bhp.
Before purchase I was looking at the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid (similar price point) but the interior is not up to par with the CX5.
