The best under 1.6l in its class... `
Went to my usual car rental company and wanted to rent an axio... They then recommended an allion and have to top up $10 extra per day... Why not? So gave it a try n immediately fell in love with it... Drove the car to Genting with wife, no problem... She also fell in love with it... Came back to Spore and scout ard for an allion... Found one bought it... Managed to hit 180km/h but car was wabbly... Installed 5 piece ultra racing strut bars, lowered with tanabe nf210 springs and now 180km/h with one hand on steering wheel... Pick wise is abit sluggish i must say... Change to k&n drop in air filter n pivot solved the problem... Consumption 40% city 60% highway is about 14km/l... Reasonable... My next car will definately be a JDM toyota... Allion 1.8? 2.0? Camry? Mark X? Only time will tell... :)

Dont be fooled by its small CC `
This July 2011, it will be 3 years since i owned this Allion of mine. As you see the breakdown by the name, its ALL IN ONE. Yes, it has comfort, luxury interior, boot space, incline rear passenger seats, 60-40 foldable rear seats back rest and fuel efficient 1.5 VVTi engine. This car has been to Terenganu, KL, Melaka, Muar and JB of course. And it has no problem to reach 180Km/H in the NSHW and its very stable due to its weight. Most important things about ALLION is cool air con. As tested it under 5hrs of jam in the 2nd link causeway, and still air con is still very cold.

Basic car, but I prefer a Conti `
My combined FC of 60 highway, 40 urban 13.8km/l @best with normal acceleration. Meter always show better result like 15km/l, but i don't think it is accurate due to my petrol bill. 18km/l as claimed may be just a myth or marketing gimmick, because my neighbour at best is just 14.5km/l with 70 highway N 30 Urban. Even though FC may be slightly better than most 1.5cc or 1.6cc cars, but it has its flaws, subjective to anybody's expectation. Personally, i don't like the ride quality. Suspension & road handling needs improvement, and over a 2yr period, it has gotten worse. After i've test driven a Kia, i really think that Japanese aren't making good everyday cars. The car is light, yes it gives good FC but i think it isn't well built for safety, just my opinion after a bad experience. Chevrolet Cruze LS seems a tough car to beat in safety, was really considering that, but i always wanted an MPV. I settled for a Citroen Picasso, as i like its comfortable ride and features.

A massive fuel-saver `
I must say that I am surprised this car does not feel like a luxury car when i sat in. The ride is rubbish as someone who has ridden a Mercs or Audi would tell you. However, I still think this car is epic. First of all, for a 1.5c.c car, I'm surprised it's engine is more astonishing than a 1.8 Altis. If you switch from a passenger role to a driver, you can feel the revs of the engine go up once you touch the pedal (sounds like a minature Mark X). The interior is something that I like. The most elegant interior combination would be redwood and black leather. The seating feels excellent for a car of it's price level. Though the soundproofing is weaker than a cheaper Latio, the engine is somewhat very quiet. The best thing is a reclinable rear row which makes the back row passenger/s feels like they're in a lounge or a bed. Fuel Consumption, I so think no other cars in this world except hybrid freaks can match Allion's FC. The CVT-i is just magnificent. An averge would be 12km/l but on highway without stopping, it once went up to 27km/l (So long as you are not a cranker in acceleration)
