Most Comfortable Car in the Family `
First time the family own a Peugeot and it has not disappointed. Have owned the car for 9 months now and it is the most comfortable car we have ever owned but would have preferred the SW version instead of the saloon but we didn't see a point in topping up the additional for the SW since boot space is something that we seldom require. Car cruises comfortably on the highway but the turning radius is appalling requiring 3 point turns sometimes when doing u-turns. The full LED headlights are the most welcome feature with it really lighting up the road and obstacles 350m away and the static bending light and auto-high beam are really useful but it would be better if it also came with bending lights since static bending lights don't really work at high speeds. Fuel economy is pretty decent with he car averaging 20km/l on the highway and about 14km/l in the city but then again it depends on the driver. I'm quite light footed. The blind spot detection also comes in useful especially when you do not notice cars beside you but it should have an audible warning to make it even safer. Had a few instances when i failed to notice the light and did a lane change when there was a motorcycle next to me. Overall, for the price we paid it is a good car especially when you compare the features to other cars in it's segment and the after-sales support where servicing is totally free for both parts and labour is a welcome change. Would have preferred the diesel but diesel models don't get LED Headlights and the JBL sound system and a few other options but then again we don't travel much so we will not see the benefits of diesel savings.

Four door French joining the sedan rat race `
Peugeot has never really been the brand to come to mind when you think of continental luxury sedans but this 508 is really a game changer for Peugeot. I was slightly skeptical when I walked into AutoFrance but was immediately swayed when the 508 looked even better in the flesh than in pictures. The pre-facelift 508 was too round for my liking and I really like what Peugeot did with this facelifted version, giving the 508 a sharper redesigned front and LED head lights. The new 1.6- litre twin scroll turbocharged engine pumps out 6bhp more than the previous, which is always a good thing.
